Second year students from Visual Communication courses visited printing company: Relief Doc, on Thursday, March 19, 2015.
The CAPS room (Publication assisted by computer system) was presented, and students were introduced to the publishing process (preparation, composition, image processing, layout). The file was then sent to the offset plate processor (CTP - Computer To Plate). This plate was then put on top of the offset press.
Visual communication students were able to grasp all the aspects of the imposition of a relatively simple document and could discover an "Heidelberg" offset press five positions, as well as it’s rotary printing press which are used in certain operations (cutting, creasing, numbering).
